Citrix offers two new certifications to become a Citrix Certified Specialist

Citrix certifications are a well-known name in the IT industry. These credentials are solution-based and reflect the changing needs IT professionals and organizations. A certified specialist can show that an individual has the skills and experience to solve Citrix problems.
Citrix introduced two new Cloud Services certifications in 2018, starting with the XenApp Service and XenDesktop Service. This article will provide information about these credentials and the methods to obtain them.
CERTIFICATION #1 – XenApp, XenDesktop Service for Citrix Cloud Certified (CCXAD-CC).
This credential validates an individual’s knowledge and skills in Citrix Cloud platform, delivering Desktops and App using XenDesktop Service or XenApp.
There are two main courses that lead to this certification
CXD-252 – Moving to the XenApp/XenDesktop Service Citrix Cloud and Microsoft Azure
Learn how to move from the local environment into the Citrix cloud and how to deploy resource locations within Microsoft Azure. Learn about Citrix Cloud, XenApp, and XenDesktop Service architecture, management, communications, and then migrate your existing infrastructure and settings to Citrix Cloud. Machine Creation Services is used to deploy the machines. Learn how to configure Citrix StoreFront or NetScaler Gateway in Citrix Cloud, or as managed machines within one’s Azure platform or datacenter for remote access.

Learn how to move from XenDesktop or XenApp on-premises into the Citrix cloud. The course will show you how to configure Citrix Cloud and Cloud Connector. Learn about the many services offered by Citrix Cloud and the considerations when moving resources to the cloud.

CERTIFICATION #2 – XenApp/XenDesktop Service Integration With Microsoft Azure Certified (CCXAD-MA).
This credential certifies that the candidate has the skills and expertise to integrate XenApp/XenDesktop Service, and supply desktop and apps to Microsoft Azure.
