  • ML-powered anomaly detection to uncover hidden insight by continuously analyzing billions data points
  • ML-powered forecasting for growth and business trends with point & click simplicity
  • Auto-narratives that tell customers the story about their dashboard using plain-language narratives.

Auto-narratives allows users to create natural language summaries from data visualizations. These can be embedded in dashboards to highlight key insights that others may need to see without having to go through the entire dashboard. AWS announced the ML Insights preview in a blog post last year. “With auto-narratives Amazon QuickSight automatically interprets charts and tables in the dashboard and provides a variety of Suggested Insights to natural language,” AWS stated. “Depending on the form and shape of your data, you might receive suggestions such as what the day’s changes look like, what sales date was highest, what is the growth rate, and what the forecast for the next seven-days looks like.” A March 14 blog post provides more information about the service and embeds an introductory video.
